I've also not gotten a legendary on the first handsome sorcerer kill, but I've gotten a legendary on about every 2 or 3 drops after that.

He has the same legendary drop pool as the warrior (CC, Impaler, Flakker, Volcano, etc.), except the drop rates are MUCH higher.
