"Train min 1 soldier" could do the trick. Switch Uniforms to naked (empty Uniform with replace clothing). Then reassign the original Uniform after a while. Then you can create a new uniform, but if you need to go back and change something, there's no edit button. It seems like you have to assign it to a squad, then adjust the uniform by selecting that squad.
