WebJan 9, 2008 · We have several parts that we cannot unselect the edge that defines sheet metal flanges. If for example I needed to move a flange from one edge to the other, the only option I have is to delete the feature and recreate it. I created a new part in IV2008 and I can unselect the flange edges. WebJun 9, 2024 · Bend radius is set in the sheet metal style and will be the same for a 90 deg bend or a 100 deg bend or whatever.... If you have a part with different bend radius on each flange then YOU made it that way.. Bend radius should be chosen and set by the designer/Engineer based on available tooling, material thickness,etc...

This is why the "Flat Layout" is a rectangle and not curved. In creating the base part using the Contour Roll feature it is in fact "Bending" your base plate.
