Red = gouge (i.e. too much stock removed) You shouldn't need a tool crash to see any colours. (your example seems to be a tool crash) If you look at my example I am milling a flat using a 6mm tool. I have set it to radial stock to leave -0.1mm. This causes a gouge which should be shown as red.

WebMay 22, 2024 · Not sure what's up, it was working yesterday for the first setup, but not today on the second setup. Even with an entire inch of tolerance, the majority of the stock is colored blue. FYI red faces are not colored red from the simulation, but the model appearance. EDIT: Works fine when only simulating the first setup.

When working correctly, as you move over an axis the plane swaps and is highlighted.
